I created a space to document UI elements which i stumble upon. i think it might be very useful to tell designers in a project check out this and that site how they solved a certain problem and either copy it or make it better. so here it is, the first post in the UI Category.

check out the portlets of sevenload.de. Besides a really slick and smooth site, the icons for accessing the full content of portlets are very professional. The make sense big time, think it is very easy to get a grip about what they are about. Also, clicking on them makes sense big time. Smoooooth how the portlets extend and display more info. so, i like it. It might make a lot of sense to do things like this.
